NOTE: The American Dental Association advises dental check-ups every 6 to 12 months. Money spent on routine maintenance pays off in the long run: a cavity caught early might cost the price of dinner and a Broadway show. A cavity that requires a root canal and a crown might cost the price of a week-long stay for two in Bora Bora.
